Rand wrote many essays, speeches, and articles on Objectivism that she later compiled into several books focused on different aspects of her philosophy, including ‘The Virtue of Selfishness’ (ethics), ‘The Romantic Manifesto’ (aesthetics), and ‘Introduction to Objectivist Epistemology’ (epistemology). But as Peikoff writes in the preface to OPAR, his ‘book is the first comprehensive statement of her philosophy’.
