Junior Fellow Program

OSI’s Junior Fellow Program is for active-minded young intellectuals who have a basic understanding of Objectivism and want to develop a career advancing and applying philosophy for freedom and flourishing.

This is a remote program conducted via Slack, Zoom, and related platforms.

Junior Fellows work directly with OSI intellectuals to develop professional-level competence in philosophic thinking, communication, and producing publishable work.

Junior Fellowships run quarterly and can be renewed or transitioned to a full-time fellowship at OSI, depending on the quality of your work and your rate of improvement.

Junior Fellows are paid $18 per hour for up to eight hours of work per week.

Application Instructions

To apply, please submit the following:

  1. Two writing samples (in English) on a cultural or philosophic issue you are passionate about (or one writing sample and one video sample),
  2. A list of five books that have had a significant impact on your intellectual development,
  3. A cover letter explaining why you want to join the Junior Fellow Program and how it fits your goals.
