    1. Did any other philosophers come up with Rand’s axioms of Existence, Consciousness, and Identity?
    2. Did Ayn Rand write her own books on Objectivist Philosophy, or were they all done by Peikoff?
    3. Minor point: There’s a sentence (page 6, Kindle Location 209)”‘Identity’ indicates not that it is, but that it is.” This reads kind of oddly, and I’m wondering whether the sentence should read “‘Identity’ indicates not that it is, but what it is.”

    Responding to #3…
The kindle has the text right, but might be omitting the book’s (essential) italic formatting.

“‘Identity’ indicates not that it 𝘪𝘴, but that 𝘪𝘵 is.”

    2. Rand wrote many essays, speeches, and articles on Objectivism that she later compiled into several books focused on different aspects of her philosophy, including ‘The Virtue of Selfishness’ (ethics), ‘The Romantic Manifesto’ (aesthetics), and ‘Introduction to Objectivist Epistemology’ (epistemology). But as Peikoff writes in the preface to OPAR, his ‘book is the first comprehensive statement of her philosophy’.

As a general comment, if you haven’t already, I would very highly recommend listening to Peikoff’s 1976 course on Objectivism.

The book is more refined, and I wish Peikoff had read it in its entirety, because he’s a masterful orator. It’s easier to understand him when you listen to him put the proper emphasis at the right words.
