In a previous short, I pointed out that there are people who are utterly devoid of any moral qualities whatsoever. These people are not interested in producing any values themselves. Consequently, since they do not have any values to offer, they cannot engage in a life-affirming manner when dealing with others. Rather, experiencing what American philosopher Ayn Rand terms “hatred of the good for being the good,” these people long to tear down anyone who actually creates values.
