Objective Standard Institute (OSI) is seeking a Development Manager (Remote) to manage fundraising and donor engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute fundraising campaigns to engage prospective and current donors and meet revenue goals.
- Communicate effectively with donors to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Conduct prospect research and compile donor profiles.
- Maintain OSI’s contributor database, keeping up-to-date information about all contributors and prospects, and accurate records of all correspondence and receipts.
- Keep abreast of changes in tax law and trends in nonprofit development.
- Produce annual reports.
- Work with OSI’s website development team to create highly effective donation pages, copy, and prompts.
- Develop estate planning explainer documents for OSI contributors and prospects.
- Arrange for the Executive Director to visit major contributors and prospects in person.
- Work with the Executive Director and OSI’s event planner to organize annual fundraising galas.
- Collaborate with OSI’s team to achieve our mission and improve our world.
Skills and experience needs:
- Experience managing a donor CRM system.
- At least three years of experience in fundraising, including creating campaigns and prospecting donors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly articulating our mission and engaging donors effectively.
- Ability to manage projects independently.
Compensation: Compensation will depend on experience and abilities. Rapid advancement is encouraged and expected.
