Does streaming music instead of buying it fundamentally change our relationship with music and our ability to appreciate it? Why do genres come and go? Can or should songs convey ideas? Are they more like dreams, powerful but not intended to convey anything specific? Or does their power come exclusively from mathematical interrelationships between tones and rhythms, all subconsciously integrated by the brain? These were some of the fascinating ideas and questions that came from your comments on my first two videos.
